Our News paper portal is developed in Asp.net. Kindly read features as below:
 

1. Multi-Level CMS:

The base structure of the news portal will be a matrix of Channels, Widgets and Languages.

Channels: The channel section will have interfaced predefined by the Developer and will have blocks for various widgets available on the portal.

We will develop the news portal with following pre-defined channels:

Languages: UTF-8 (8-bit UCS/Unicode Transformation Format) is a variable-length character encoding for Unicode. It is able to represent any character in the Unicode standard, yet is backwards compatible with ASCII. For these reasons, it is steadily becoming the preferred encoding for e-mail, web pages. UTF-8 encoding allows multi-lingual text to be displayed on standard IE browsers without any explicit font download or installation. Alternatively, We will use Akruti Unicode / EOT based Dynamic Font for the website development.

8. Client List/Manager: This Section will provide online client List with all detail
information with ADD, MODIFY or DELETE any records in above-mentioned sections. This
section will be accessible only after authentication of the administrator logins.
 
9. Testimonials: All client testimonials can be added / edited / deleted using this section
by the Administrator only.
 
10. Downloads: All promotional material like presentations, reports, brochures and other
.pdf / .doc / .xls / .ppt files can be added / edited / deleted using this section by the
Administrator only. These files can be downloaded only by Registered Clients only.
 
11. Careers: This section will provide on line details of Current Vacancies and with add,
delete & edit facility.
 
12. FAQs: This section will provide online details of Frequently Asked Questions with add,
delete & edit facility.
 
13. Apply Online: This dynamic feature provide facility to upload resumes online & e-mail
resumes uploaded to HR email id.
 
14. Jobs Management: This feature provides category wise Jobs management facility.
 
15. Case Studies Files Upload: Various case studies can be mentioned on the website
using the content management tool in the admin module with file uploa facility.
 
16. News & Events: Latest News and Updates & Events related to the company can be
covered under this section.
 
17. Administration Section: An Online administration section with facility to ADD,
MODIFY or DELETE any records in any of the above-mentioned sections. This section will be
accessible only after authentication of the administrator logins.
Static Pages: Static web pages are the pages on which the data/information once
programmed cannot be changed without the knowledge of HTML Programming.

2. Searchable archives: The News / Articles on the web portal will be bifurcated in the Archives
section under various years and months. Users will be able to search for archived news / articles
stored in the database according to date and keywords.
 
3. Multimedia including slide shows and pod casts: Registered users will be able to record their own pod casts or click photos and upload pictures it to the site for review and display.
Slideshows: Administrators can create various Slideshows Album with auto play, stop, next and
previous photo navigation facilities. A photo can be added in multiple albums along with the title,
description of the photo.
 
Post casts: Audio Pod casts embed codes can be uploaded by registered members in the pre-specified file format and streaming of the same can be done for users. Facility for embedding audio / video pod casts embedded code from third party websites can even be done here. Audio / Videos embed data added by registered users will be sent to administrator for approval before actual publishing on the web portal.
 
4. Blogs: There will be an open source blog module installed on a sub-domain. We will make a script to register all users on the mainportal to simultaneously register on the blog module database. Registered users to the blog will be able to post their own topics / comments, which after review will be added to the blog section of the site, where other users will be able to read comment, rate the post reply.
 
5. Polls: Administrator will have facility for adding various Questions in the poll section of the web portal. Registered users will be able to select any answer of their choice among the various
options added by administrator for every poll question. After selecting his choice for the poll
question, the logged in user will have facility to look at the Poll survey results of that particular
poll only. The results of the polls will be dynamically displayed on the site.
 
6. Rate article, comment on article, forward article: Registered users will be able to rate, comment, and forward articles to their email ids or to their friends email ids.
 
7. Headlines with mouse over, summary and drop down sections: The headlines will have a short
summary on mouse over on the home page of the web portal and the sections listed on the site
will have a drop down menu for easy navigation.
 
8. Citizen journalism: Registered users will be able to upload video embed codes, audio bytes and articles, which would be published post moderation of the administrator. The maximum upload size of such file will be 4MB only considering the limitations in the HTTP protocol file upload mechanism.
 
9. Regional news: The News / Articles on the web portal can be categorized by the Administrator under the regional categories using the Admin module.
 
10. Contact webmaster option, Report Abuse: Options to contact the admin for specific reasons also report abuse link to remove any unwanted or hurtful contents will be provided to registered
users.
 
11. Video player to embed clips from third party website like youtube.com
 / you tube website: Facility for the Administrator to embed streaming videos embedding code in the CMS news and articles will be provided. Note the actual videos will be loaded on the third party servers. We will only provide facility to embed the video display code. Video players / codecs and Bandwidth of the respective third parties will be used for streaming the videos.
 
12. Banner Management Module: Administrators can add / edit / delete display of banners (with predefined dimensions and file formats) and text ads in the home and inside page of the news portal.
 
13. RSS, bookmark, share: We will provide facility to SHARE the URLs on various social networking websites and even will provide RSS feeds for the News and Articles section.
